Here's what you missed today...
1) I gave students a paper with 10 sentences in English using the new vocabulary, and they worked in pairs to translate/interpret the sentences into Spanish. This is an important paper to keep for studying for the test. (I have more copies for you to pick up in class)
2) For about 10 minutes, I reviewed 5 of the 10 sentences, and we will finish tomorrow!

Here's what you missed today:
1) The first 1/2 of class, I passed out the new vocabulary for the Chapter 1 content we are covering in the new "Orange" Textbook, Descubre 2. Students filled in the vocabulary in English for abut 25 minutes.
2) For the 2nd 1/2 of class, we played Kahoot! using the new vocabulary for quick memorization patterns.

1) We tried to get back into the swing of "Spanish" and practiced speaking to each other using question prompts that I gave everyone...we sat in "speed dating" style, although no dating was involved :)
2) The last few minutes of class, we caught up over everyone's break, and had some fun conversations and stories of what we all did!

Hola chicos! Mi cuento para hoy acerca de mi hijo Cohen es que ayer me dijo que tiene novia y su primaria. Ellos tienen cinco años asi que yo le dije que solamente pueden ser amigos.
